REMOTE Systems Administrator

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Administrator Contractor to work remotely in support of a Cincinnati, OH-based technology team. This individual will help ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications and infrastructure by providing 24x7x365 monitoring and incident support. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring tools, incident response, and operational documentation, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment while supporting continuous improvement and basic automation efforts.

Skills and Requirements

· System Monitoring (3-5 years experience)

· Application & infrastructure monitoring in a 24x7x365 environment

· Experience with Dynatrace, Grafana, and Azure Monitor

· Incident triage, troubleshooting, and escalation

· Major incident support (bridge calls, documentation, execution)

· Strong documentation skills (SOPs, knowledge articles)

-Flexibility to work off-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed · Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash)

· Experience with "shift-left" operations

· Operational metrics and reporting (MTTD, MTTR)

· Enterprise or consulting environment experience
