Eccard Excavating, LLC is a growing, family-owned excavation company specializing in site work and utilities throughout Central Ohio. We offer the close-knit, family atmosphere of a small company combined with the equipment, organization, and opportunity you’d expect from a much larger operation.
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
What You’ll Do:
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including:
- Excavators
- Bulldozers
- Skid loaders
- Rollers
- Etc (various other equipment as needed).
- Perform site work and utility installation on a variety of projects.
- Read and interpret construction plans, understand grade setting, and work from stakes.
- Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Be a team player—willing to step in and help where needed to keep projects moving.
- Maintain equipment and follow all company safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to read plans and understand grades.
- Class A CDL preferred, or a willingness to obtain.
- Strong work ethic with a team-first mindset.
- Willingness to work weekly overtime.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
