Summary

We are seeking a Network Technician to join our team in Newark, Ohio. This role is vital in supporting client network infrastructure and ensuring seamless connectivity for our clients. Based in Newark, Ohio, you will contribute to our mission of providing reliable and innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities

• Install and configure: Set up and configure network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Maintain and support: Ensure the smooth operation of networks, including performing routine maintenance and updates.
• Troubleshoot and repair: Diagnose and resolve network problems to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support: Assist users with network-related issues and provide guidance on new systems or updates.
• Monitor performance: Track network performance to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Ensure security: Help implement and maintain network security measures.
• Document: Create and maintain records of network configurations, issues, and solutions.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience with Cisco, Meraki, Sophos, Sonicwall, Ubiquiti, HP, DLink networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security.
• Experience with network segmentation
• Experience with VPNs, VLANs, and various wireless technologies.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools like (PRTG, Ninja, etc.)
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA or equivalent are preferred.
