1st shift Q.C $14 Salem, Oh Mon- Sat 58hrs a week.

General Duties & Responsibilities

1.Interface with the production departments to ensure parts quality and maintain the companys quality control program.

2.Implement and enforce the safety policy as outlined in the Safety Policy & Procedures Handbook.

3.Enforce all company policy and procedures as outlined in the Associate Handbook.

4.Understands and follows applicable EMS programs and work instructions.

5.Understands and follows applicable QMS programs and work instructions.

6.Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment by enforcing a policy of good housekeeping.

7.Possess an understanding and working knowledge of all department machinery and equipment.

Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities

1.Document, implement and maintain process control programs to improve the production process in all departments.

2.Responsible for assisting in the implementation and control of the companys quality policy and procedures.

3.Responsible for inspection and documentation of all production parts submitted for sample approval.

4.Develop and maintain applicable quality department documentation including: PQCP, FMEA, Flow Charts, Operation Standards, Set-Up Instructions and Statistical Capability Studies.

5.Initiate and track internal and external corrective action requests.

6.Maintain and update all applicable Quality Control Files and databases, in conjunction with the Quality Manager.

7.Clean, calibrate and maintain company and associate owned inspection equipment.

8.Perform duties as outlined in the Quality Procedures manual: Internal Quality Audits, Contract review Board Meetings, Associate Training, Dock Audits and Sample Submission functions.

9.Assist production floor associates with inspection functions including: IMI, First Piece, In-Process, Final and Paint/Plate.

10.Assist the Quality Manager in the development and revision of quality policy and procedures.

11.Enforce corporate quality policies and discipline associates through the use of verbal and written warnings.

12.Requisition needed materials, supplies and consumables in conjunction with the Purchasing Department.

13.Implement and maintain a continual improvement program, in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
