FLSA Status: Nonexempt Employment Status: Full-Time
Salary Range: $25.21 - $37.82 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative Associate provides comprehensive administrative and financial support to Library operations and leadership. This position plays a key role in daily cash management, financial recordkeeping, purchasing, payroll support, and general office coordination. The Administrative Associate ensures efficient internal operations while upholding the Library's mission, policies, and core values.

WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position with regular weekday hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Evening or weekend hours may occasionally be required to support Library operations.

The Administrative Associate provides administrative and financial support for Library operations.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Skill in basic recordkeeping. Skill in customer service. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and with co-workers in a wide variety of situations with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Always maintains respect for confidential information.
Prepares cash drawers, daily deposits, and monthly balance reports to the Fiscal Officer.
Orders and distributes office supplies and equipment for the Library.
Reviews invoices against packing slips, reports discrepancies, and processes payments.
Maintains inventory records of equipment and furniture for the Library.
Performs general clerical and office duties for the Administration department.
Provides support for payroll processing and related tasks.
Assists the Fiscal Officer with the maintenance and control of financial records.
Coordinates contracted maintenance services by working directly with internal staff and outside vendors.
