Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our talented team. In this role, you will lead the design and analysis of electrical power distribution, lighting, and control systems for a variety of industrial and commercial projects. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, mechanical and structural engineers, and clients to develop efficient, code-compliant, and constructible designs that meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems for industrial and commercial projects

• Conduct arc flash, short circuit, and time-current coordination studies to ensure system safety and reliability

• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines

• Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates

• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and all applicable codes and standards

• Lead client meetings and project coordination efforts from concept through construction

• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and designers

• Support proposal development, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure project success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design (industrial or commercial facilities preferred)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, or ETAP for power system analysis

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Experience preparing construction cost estimates and project proposals

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $104,000 – $127,000/year (commensurate with experience and certifications)
