Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Description

Insight is looking for a contract to hire Cloud Engineer for one of our large enterprise clients in the Cincinnati OH area. This person will serve as a point of contact for Cloud/infrastructure-related projects, questions and issues. They will participate in the design, implementation and administration of Cloud-based platform solutions working alongside Cloud Architects and other teams (e.g., Web, Database, Storage, Networking, IAM) to ensure that initial and anticipated future business requirements are presented. This position partners with Information Security to ensure that the proposed infrastructure solution complies with our Cloud security standards.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of professional IT experience including 2 years of support experience in related technologies such as Azure as well as other cloud platforms

• Bachelors degree

• Solid infrastructure background, strong understanding of products and technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, messaging, etc., as well as Cloud infrastructure/services and delivery models

• Solid technical experience in infrastructure deployment and maintenance

• Good communication skills with experience in customer support - Experience working in a financial industry

• Microsoft Azure or M365 certifications are a strong plus
