About Us: The Howlin' Bird, located in North Canton, Ohio, is a vibrant eatery known for its delectable menu and warm ambiance. We seek a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team.

Position: Line Cook

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: North Canton, Ohio

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook all menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
• Responsible for food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and cooking proteins and vegetables
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including routine cleaning tasks and end-of-day cleanup
• Contribute to the development of new menu items and specials
• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook
• Strong background in restaurant and cooking operations
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in all aspects of line cooking, including prep work, cooking, and plating
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high food quality and presentation standards
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
