Warehouse Associate

Rightstone  is looking for a Warehouse Associate in Dayton, OH. The pay rate is $18/hr. for a 3-month contract with a potential for permanent hire based on performance. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate movement and tracking of electrical distribution materials. You will balance physical warehouse tasks—such as picking, packing, and operating a rider pallet jack—with technical duties including RF scanning and computer-based inventory management. This position also includes specialized training on industrial wire-cutting equipment, making it an ideal role for someone looking to expand their industrial skill set. 

What you will do

• Perform full-cycle warehouse duties, including receiving inventory, picking, and packing customer orders with high accuracy.
• Utilize RF scan guns and internal computer systems to track inventory levels and process shipping documentation.
• Operate a Rider Pallet Jack safely to move materials throughout the facility.
• Execute specialized tasks such as cutting industrial wire to customer specifications as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility by assisting with general upkeep during operational downtime.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure data and physical inventory integrity.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping deadlines and productivity goals.

What we’re looking for

• Must be comfortable and proficient using computers for daily data entry and inventory tracking.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, specifically with receiving or order fulfillment, is preferred.
• Proven ability to operate (or willingness to be trained on) a Rider Pallet Jack.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift materials throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to follow precise instructions for wire-cutting and measuring tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a "safety-first" mindset.
• Required Dress Code: Steel-toe boots and denim/jeans.
• Ability to work the required schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Important

This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period, but these may become available upon conversion to a permanent role.
