Join Our Team as a Swimming Instructor at Perry Natatorium!

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can share your love of swimming and help others gain confidence in the water? Perry Natatorium is hiring enthusiastic, friendly instructors for a variety of lessons—including group lessons, private lessons, Learn to Swim, Mommy & Me, Water Aerobics and more! Whether you’re an experienced swim instructor or a competitive swimmer ready to learn how to teach, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Teach safe, fun, and effective swimming lessons tailored to different ages and skill levels
• Create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable and motivated
• Adapt lessons for groups, private sessions, and specialty classes like Mommy & Me
• Work closely with parents and students to track progress and provide friendly, supportive guidance
• Maintain a safe environment and follow all facility policies
• Obtain lifeguard certification within one year of hire

Requirements:

• Swim experience; competitive swimmers eager to learn to teach are encouraged to apply
• Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain within one year of hire)
• Friendly, patient, and service-oriented attitude
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with students and families
