Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk (1st Shift) ($18-22/hr.)

Job Description

Join our team as a Receiving Clerk where you will play a vital role in preparing items for shipment and managing incoming and outgoing shipments. This position offers a dynamic work environment in a large-scale warehouse with opportunities for growth and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for shipment.
• Identify, count, weigh, and measure incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Work with Bill of Lading (BOL) and receiving instructions.
• Drive a forklift and unload trucks.
• Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Operate within an SAP system.
• Utilize stretch wrap banders.
• Receive and process all parts returned for placement.
• Use an RF scanner for inventory management.
• Perform quality checks on all outgoing shipments with a high level of attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• Experience with SAP or ERP systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• At least 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Basic math skills for managing shipments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Epicor.
• Knowledge of 6S and lean manufacturing principles.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean, large-scale warehouse where you may be exposed to the elements when working outdoors. The company operates primarily in the Kitchen and Bath wholesale and retail markets, serving a strong customer base with many well-known retailers and manufacturers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garfield Heights, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
