In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine’s faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day. The Department of Radiology is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff. The Department of Radiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine invites junior, mid-career, and senior-level (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) nuclear medicine physicians to apply for a full-time faculty position in the Department. Responsibilities include the interpretation of a wide variety of general nuclear, nuclear cardiac, hybrid molecular imaging (PET/CT, SPECT/CT) studies, and DEXA studies as well as the administration of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, including but not limited to I-131, Ra-223, Lu-177, and Y-90 radiolabeled agents. UC Health facilities are equipped with PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and cardiac CZT systems. The position involves regular daytime Monday-Friday coverage, with nuclear medicine weekend and holiday remote call. The candidate is expected to participate in multidisciplinary conferences, be actively involved in the education of residents, fellows, and medical students, and foster a collegial work environment. There are opportunities to pursue research interests and scholarly activities within the department and throughout the UC campus. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Essential Functions Duties will include responsibilities for the clinical, research and teaching activities for our students, residents and fellows. Minimum Requirements- Ohio medical license.
- M.D., D.O., M.D.-PhD., or foreign equivalent.
- Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine or 36 months of training at an institution with an ACGME accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
