What You’ll Master
- Setting up and operating CNC milling equipment to exact specifications.
- Translating blueprints, drawings, and work orders into efficient, reliable setups.
- Monitoring cycles and refining parameters or G-code to sustain quality and efficiency.
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues to reduce downtime.
- Maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
- Documenting production data and machine performance accurately.
- Partnering with teammates to share best practices and improve processes.
- Applying proper measurement techniques with a tape measure, micrometer, vernier, or caliper.
Your Background
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNC-focused technical training is a plus.
- Experience as a CNC Mill Operator or comparable machining professional.
- Working knowledge of CNC programming and G-code.
- Fluency with technical documentation and complex prints.
- Track record of holding tolerances to .001".
- Familiar with quality control standards and precision instrumentation.
- Detail-driven, collaborative, and solutions-oriented communicator.
Tools & Environment
- 3–4 axis VMC CNC mills with Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas controls
- 5+ axis VMC CNC mills with Fanuc and Mazak controls
- Overhead crane
- Calipers and micrometers
Schedule & Location
Based in Austintown, OH. Work Monday through Thursday on a 10-hour off-shift with a flexible start time between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
