DevOps Engineer

Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid position in Columbus, OH.

• Provide production and development support for online software products and internal tooling in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Focus on standardized AWS deployment automation.
• Ensure appropriate metrics, monitoring, and alerting are implemented for application components
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce manual effort
• Develop new tools and automation to support evolving needs
• Partner closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver stable, scalable, and secure solutions
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years in a DevOps role
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for professional development, both on the job and independently
• Willingness to expand skill sets and take on new responsibilities as needed
  

Required:

• Experience building and supporting enterprise applications with automated builds, CI pipelines, and deployments in private or public cloud environments
• Experience architecting and operating in AWS environments using CDK, EC2, S3, ECS, VPC, and TypeScript
• Strong focus on automation and repeatable, scalable solutions
  

Nice to have:

• Kubernetes
• MarkLogic
• Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Bash
• Maintaining observability tools like Elasticsearch, Filebeat, and Grafana
