Infrastructure Engineer, Voice and Telecom
We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Voice and Telecom systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust telecommunications infrastructure that supports our organization's voice communication needs. This role requires a deep understanding of voice networks, VoIP technologies, PBX systems, and telecom protocols. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of voice services with existing IT infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize system performance. Additionally, you will oversee upgrades, security measures, and compliance with industry standards. The position demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain voice and telecom infrastructure systems
- Manage VoIP and PBX systems to ensure reliable communication
- Implement and manage integrations with paging and intercom systems
- Troubleshoot voice-related issues
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate voice services with data networks
- Implement security standards to protect telecom infrastructure
- Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations
- Document system configurations and procedures
- Provide technical support and training to end-users
- Ensure compliance with telecom regulations and standards
- Evaluate new technologies to improve voice communication systems
- Monitor IT systems and infrastructure for alerts, anomalies, and incidents.
- Manage and prioritize escalation processes to ensure timely resolution.
- Analyze and prioritize alerts based on severity and impact.
- Initiate and manage escalation procedures according to established protocols.
- Coordinate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Maintain and update alerting and monitoring tools and documentation.
- Analyze incident trends and recommend improvements to reduce recurrence.
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, alerts, and escalation actions.
- Continuously improve alerting and escalation processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding system status and incidents.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and report findings.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proven experience in voice and telecom infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323) and PBX systems.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and routing protocols.
- Experience with telecom security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex voice network issues.
- Certifications such as CCNA Voice or equivalent are a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

The annual starting salary for this position is 95,000-100,000 . Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Paid Time Off: The amount of Paid Time Off (PTO) employees accrue is determined by both their position and the length of their employment term. 19 days of paid time off for 12-month roles.
We offer several plans to choose from, with a wide range of deductibles and co- insurance levels. We offer plans with set co-pays for certain medical services, as well as a high deductible plan with set co-insurance levels after deductibles have been met. All plans offer both in-network and out-of-network coverage. We also offer flexible spending and health savings accounts.
