What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health
Product and Solutions Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy.
Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead market research and customer insight initiatives to inform strategic decisions and uncover growth opportunities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for assigned product lines or customer segments
- Translate strategy into actionable downstream plans across the organization, ensuring alignment and consistency
- Collaborate with external agencies to deliver high-impact product portfolios and messaging
- Serve as a strategic partner to the category management, marketing, sourcing, and quality teams. Equipping teams with tools, training, and processes that drive results
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution and alignment with broader business goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 4-8 years of experience and private label experience, preferred
- Proven track record leading strategic initiatives and managing complex projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in large, matrixed organizations and navigating cross-functional dynamics

Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers
Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels
Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution
Anticipated salary range: $80,900 – $103,950
Bonus eligible: No
