Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

This position will support the Avient Specialty Engineered Materials business unit. The Intern is responsible for supporting the technical, lab testing, production, clerical and project work

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supports the department with all necessary technical, lab testing or clerical work. Supports the department with all necessary project work. Other duties as assigned. Scope This position will support the Avon Lake Specialty Engineered Materials manufacturing facility. Education and Experience

• High School Diploma
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in progress
• 1 year of professional experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
