Immediate Opening – Construction Safety Consultant

As a safety consultant at Safex you’ll be supporting primarily construction clients. You’ll be surrounded with those who have an entrepreneurial spirit and have each other’s backs. The candidate will have:

• A degree in safety or related construction field
• 1-3 years of construction safety experience
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Strong written communication skills
• Strong intrapersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Effective organizational and time management skills to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• CHST or willingness to complete in a year
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

The ideal candidate would have experience:

• Preparing written reports and programs
• Identifying hazards and proposing corrective actions in construction environments
• Developing and facilitating tool box talks.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Provide onsite safety staff support for construction clients
• Respond to client inquiries and provide straightforward regulatory interpretations
• Build relationships and increase service offerings with new and existing clients, and industry professionals.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
