Manufacturing/Warehouse General Laborer – Paint Department

Location: Niles, OH
Shift: 3rd Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday–Saturday
Pay: $14.35 per hour

About the Role

We are hiring reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our Paint Department in Niles, OH. This position is a key part of our manufacturing team, ensuring product is prepped, painted, and finished to company standards. If you are dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Essential Duties

Follow supervisor/operator directions to prep, move, and stage parts for painting

Assist with material handling, including hanging/unhanging parts on racks

Inspect and ensure parts are properly coated and finished

Maintain a clean and safe work area (sweeping, shoveling, removing debris as needed)

Keep pace with production requirements to ensure steady material flow

Comply with all company safety and quality policies

May be cross-trained in additional paint line tasks for flexibility

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older to work in the plant

Must be available to work day shifts (8 AM – 4 PM) Monday–Saturday

Ability to work overtime and in other departments as needed

Able to follow basic instructions and communicate clearly (verbal & written)

Must have basic math skills – ability to read a tape measure is a plus

Reliable attendance – must show up on time and ready to work each scheduled shift

Physical Requirements

Work performed in a factory/manufacturing environment with fluctuating temperatures and high noise levels

Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, and pulling

Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally

Must be alert and aware of surroundings at all times for safety

Ability to follow written procedures and instructions safely and effectively
