About the Position

We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician or EM-experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to join a physician-led, high-volume Emergency Department in Athens, OH. This is a great opportunity to provide excellent patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Position Highlights:

• ED Volume: 28,000 visits/year
• ️ ED Size: 22 beds
• ⏰ Shift Coverage: 24/7 physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
• ️‍⚕️ APP Support: 36 hours/day
• EMR: EPIC
• Schedule: Nights & weekends required
• ⚖️ Credentialing Timeline: Minimum 90 days
• ❌ No OT
• Lodging: Must be booked through the facility

Compensation: $290-$300/hr.

Requirements

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certified in ABMS/AOA Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with EM experience
• Ohio State License (IMLC accepted with proof of LOQ within 3 business days)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent EM experience
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Clean background check
