Mondelez International has job opportunities for Full-Time Maintenance Repairer at Nabisco/Mondelēz plant, located in Toledo, OH, which is a continuous improvement environment.

Schedule:

• From Monday to Friday.
• 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift.
• Weekends as needed.

Pay Rate:

• The hourly wage for this position is $39.73 per hour. Benefits beginning 1st of the month following 60 days of employment include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Wellness Program.
• Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
• $7000 Sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for machinery inspection, mechanical and electrical technical assistance, and maintenance and repair during assigned shifts.
• Tests, installs, and repairs plant equipment and machinery.
• Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections on equipment and machinery.
• Conducts electrical inspection, repair, and troubleshooting on production and support equipment and plant power systems (PLC, I/O, electronics, motors, and instruments).
• Performs basic mechanical work, including sheet metal layout, fabrication, buildings and grounds maintenance, weights and scales calibration, welding, and pipefitting.
• Documents work performed and communicates work activities to appropriate personnel.
• Stays current on new equipment and updates to existing equipment by reading manuals, schematics, drawings, and relevant literature.
• Provides on-call emergency repair service for all areas of the mill.
• Utilizes fabrication shop process equipment such as drill press, hydraulic press, welder, band saw, sheet metal shear, metal brake, and milling machine.
• Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and GMP’s.
• Works in various conditions, including moderate exposure to dusty and dirty work environments and seasonal weather extremes (both inside and outside).
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Works from ladders and elevated platforms, as well as climbing steps and crawling over, under, and into equipment as needed to perform job duties.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Industrial Maintenance experience: 5 years (required) with certification, 6 years without.
• English (required).
• Mechanical Certificate (preferred).
• Electrical Certificate (preferred).
• Work Authorization (required).
• AM – Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 Sytems: 1 year (preferred).
• Progressive Maintenance Step 3: 1 year (preferred).
