Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support building systems projects for a growing MEP consulting practice serving Saint Joseph, OH. Core Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical system design for commercial and institutional facilities in Saint Joseph, OH, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Direct projects from conceptual planning through bidding and construction support phases.
• Produce and review detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit, including active drafting responsibilities.
• Coordinate closely with architects, mechanical engineers, plumbing designers, and owners to align technical requirements.

Requirements

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with demonstrated hands-on design capability.
• Experience designing electrical systems for sectors such as higher education, municipal facilities, recreation centers, medical office buildings, retail, hospitality, or light industrial projects.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC and commercial building regulations.
• Demonstrated stability and progression within consulting engineering roles.
