Responsibilities: Directs and supervises all district athletic programs and events, including attendance at events,discipline of athletes, maintain order and security at athletic contests.Ensures full compliance with all OHSAA bylaws and regulations.Serves as an advisor to the Superintendent and as a member of the district administrative team.Ensures district compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.Ensures proper safety protocols, supervision plans and risk management procedures are in place for allathletic events and practices.Recruits, supervises, evaluates, and supports all coaches, assistant coaches, athletic volunteers andathletic workers.Oversees the budget of the 7-12 athletic program and aligns that budget with district goals.Oversees athletic fundraising activities, manages gate receipts and other revenues.Coordinates with booster groups to facilitate projects and purchases sponsored by said groups.Oversees scheduling of teams and contests, transportation coordination, and facility usage.
