Nursing Tutor (In-Person) – ADN Program Support | Immediate Need

About the Opportunity

Splendid Tutoring is urgently seeking a highly qualified, professional, and dependable In-Person Nursing Tutor to support a motivated student currently enrolled in the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at Herzing University.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursing professional or advanced nursing student who is passionate about education, mentorship, and helping students succeed in a rigorous academic environment.

The ideal candidate will provide personalized one-on-one instruction, reinforce core nursing concepts, and help the student build confidence both academically and clinically.

Current Coursework (Now – August 2026)

• Pharmacology
• Health Assessment + Lab
• Nursing Fundamentals + Lab

Schedule

Flexible availability preferred during the following time windows:

• Tuesday afternoons (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
• Wednesday afternoons (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
• Thursday afternoons (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
• Friday afternoons (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, one-on-one academic support
• Reinforce nursing concepts, terminology, and clinical application
• Assist with assignments, lab preparation, quizzes, and exam readiness
• Help strengthen critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
• Support organization, study strategies, and overall academic confidence
• Maintain a professional, encouraging, and student-centered learning environment

Qualifications

• RN, BSN, MSN, or advanced nursing student strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Pharmacology, Fundamentals, and Health Assessment
• Prior tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or healthcare training experience preferred
• Familiarity with ADN nursing coursework and clinical expectations
• Reliable, patient, professional, and supportive personality
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
