Vogel Disposal Service offers employees the following types of benefits:
1. Full time employment plus potential overtime. Employees are paid at an hourly rate plus time and one-half for overtime hours worked.
2. Work weeks can vary from 5-8 hour days to 4-10 hour days for the employee’s regular schedule.

CDL Class A Drivers

Ohio Valley Waste Service Inc. is seeking qualified Class A CDL drivers for local daily runs. Each driver is home every night. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle. - Safely drive and operate a commercial motor vehicle (tractor-trailer combination unit) according to the work rules while also abiding by all local, state, and federal laws. - Drive municipal waste or recyclable materials from the transfer station to the disposal facility and dispose of the load. - Maintain a courteous and cordial manner with all customers encountered on the route. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Must possess a Class A CDL. - Must pass a DOT medical exam and drug screen. - Must keep both CDL and DOT medical card in good standing. - Subject to yearly MVRs. - Must pass a road test as part of the hiring process. - Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots. - Uniforms are provided after probationary work period. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb required. Also required to frequently push/pull.
