Centerless CNC Grinder Set-Up Specialist

Imagine parts you machine helping cool buildings, move goods across warehouses, and power critical equipment. At Regal Rexnord’s Cleveland Thomson/Nook Division, you’ll set up and run centerless CNC grinding operations that keep industry moving—safely, precisely, and to print.

Your mission

• Own setup: prepare centerless grinders, select tooling, and establish feeds/speeds.
• Run production: operate to ISO 9001 standards with disciplined process control.
• Assure quality: inspect against blueprints, correct defects, and deburr components.
• Flow the work: transfer completed parts to the next operation.
• Model safety: maintain a clean, compliant work area.

Growth profile

• Education: One-year college or technical certificate preferred.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year in machining/grinding or equivalent training.
• Strengths: mechanical mindset, solid math, and clear communication.
• Measurement mastery: micrometers, calipers; understanding surface footage and feed rates; calculating feeds and speeds.
• Blueprint requirement: completion of a blueprint reading course.

• Hiring for 1st & 2nd shift.
• Work Location: In person — Cleveland, OH 44125
• Ability to Commute: Cleveland, OH 44125 (Required)
• Ability to Relocate: Cleveland, OH 44125 — Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Physical expectations

Regular hands-on work at the machine: standing, walking, sitting; frequent reaching and tool handling; occasional climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; lifting/moving up to 50 lbs at times. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, plus focus adjustment.
