Position Summary

We are seeking a Professional Surveyor to join our growing team of civil and engineering professionals. In this role, you’ll lead and participate in land surveying and site development projects , collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients to deliver accurate and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult directly with clients to understand project scope, objectives, and deliverables

• Assist in preparing detailed proposals, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project execution

• Coordinate and work closely with field crews , maintaining accuracy and efficiency in survey operations

• Conduct and review deed and boundary research to support project decisions and legal compliance

• Perform field surveying work , including equipment setup, GPS data collection, and quality control checks

• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software to develop precise survey drawings, topographic maps, and construction documentation

• Perform survey computations, calculations, and adjustments with exceptional attention to detail

• Support the engineering and design teams with base mapping and existing condition documentation

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

• Registered Professional Surveyor (PS) in the State of Ohio , or on track to obtain licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, boundary surveys, and construction staking

• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a team-oriented attitude

• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to producing quality work

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience and certifications)
