As our valued Senior Technical Support Officer within Technology Services you will sit in the Operations & Service team.
You will make an impact by:
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for university applications, desktop, network, and audiovisual systems, including event and classroom technology support.
- Assist with Standard Operating Environment (SOE) deployment, maintenance, and user support for standardized computer builds and software.
- Lead incident coordination for technical issues, escalate when needed, and mentor junior technical staff through knowledge sharing and training.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support system deployments, user training, and collaborate with vendors for platform updates and maintenance.

To succeed in this role, you will also need:
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, Active Directory, networking, Standard Operating Environment (SOE) operations, and basic audio/video systems, with solid problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting university applications and services, including user training and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with the ability to apply technical judgement and initiative within established procedures.

- Located at Lismore, NSW 2480. Relocation Assistance, making it easier to join our regional communities
- HEW Level 5. The base salary ranges from $83,563 - $92,857 per annum (full time equivalent), plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation.
