Nursery Associate

The Pattie Group, Inc. is searching for motivated, dependable and hardworking team players to join our company in our Nursery Operations Department. This position is for team members who are go-getters and want to have a long-term career path with a 55+-year-old company. Positions are open for all experience levels.

Type of work to include all aspects of Landscape Nursery Operations:

• · Landscape plant growing and care
• · Tree, shrub, and flower inventory, maintenance, purchasing and procurement
• · Loading and local delivery of plants and materials to jobsites
• · Plant healthcare including watering, fertilizing, disease/pest ID and management
• · Planting, growing and holding of flowers, shrubs and trees
• · Trimming and pruning
• · Mulching
• · General Nursery facility property care and maintenance
• · Operating all basic landscaping hand tools and power equipment
• · Other general duties
• To be considered for this position, the candidate must:
• · Be willing to learn and grow as well as lead and teach
• · Able to work day shift 8-10 hours per day, 5-6 days per week
• · Pass a pre-employment background and driving record check
• · Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
