Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following healthcare location protocols, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, patient, and staff traffic flow in accordance with site policies and healthcare location expectations.
• Communicate with staff, visitors, and first responders regarding security-related issues, policy questions, and/or observed conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for this hospital location.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
