Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator III to join our team. This role involves executing daily tasks related to the manufacture of pharmaceutical products, including equipment setup, manufacturing steps execution according to formulas, and equipment disassembly and cleaning. The candidate will work in compliance with GMP standards and contribute to the training of other operators, while also troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing tasks as per Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Batch Records.
• Set up, disassemble, and clean manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process-related problems.
• Assist in the training and development of fellow operators.
• Ensure compliance with GMP environment standards.
• Prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities efficiently.
• Maintain effective communication with all departments.

Essential Skills

• Basic literacy in English.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly, 35 pounds frequently, and 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/mechanical environment.
• Experience in a GMP environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and SAP.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capability to lead a team and achieve production goals.
• Tablet Compression Experience is a must.

Work Environment

The position is 100% onsite in Cincinnati, operating from 5:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Thursday. The role requires wearing an air-powered respirator Tyvek hood and suit. The environment involves handling heavy lifting and working with various mechanical equipment, including the use of a pallet jack and climbing step ladders or platforms. This is a Contract position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
