We’re expanding and investing in our people. Join our Production Unit in Canton, Ohio, as a CNC Fiber Laser and Press Brake expert who thrives on independence, service, and results.

Your day, at a glance

At 5:00 a.m., you review work orders and load the first sheets. You retrieve programs, complete start-up checks, and run the Bodor 6kW fiber laser (sheet and tube) to exact tolerances. Later, you’ll move to the Toskar 20 ft and Durma 8 ft press brakes, setting up tooling, confirming bends, and measuring finished parts. When needed, you’ll jump in with the production team to assemble parts and operate additional equipment—bending, cutting, punching, or sawing metal according to instructions. Throughout the day you’ll keep safety first, perform 5S housekeeping and operator maintenance, and adjust programs or setups to keep quality and throughput on track. You’ll wrap with shutdown procedures and a clean, safe workstation.

What you’ll do

• Set up and operate a CNC fiber laser (Bodor 6kW Sheet & Tube) to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Set up and operate CNC press brakes (Toskar 20 ft and Durma 8 ft), including die changes and part setups.
• Support production: assemble parts; bend, cut, punch, and saw metal products per instructions.
• Retrieve programs; complete start-up and shutdown; adjust parameters to resolve issues.
• Diagnose machine problems and make modifications as needed.
• Use nesting software to maximize material utilization.
• Measure completed work to verify conformance; ensure quality throughout.
• Perform operator maintenance and 5S housekeeping per schedules.
• Handle materials safely, including loading raw materials.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.

About the team

AmbaFlex operates five production units worldwide to build our conveying systems. Established in 2010, Production Unit Canton includes an Internal Fabrication Department responsible for producing raw, semi-finished, and finished goods that power the rest of our Canton, OH operations—cutting, forming, welding, machining, and blasting metal parts.

What you bring

• Strong hands-on experience running CNC laser cutting and CNC press brake equipment, including correct gases, nozzles, and materials.
• Ability to read work orders to determine materials, cut lines, and tolerances.
• Good command of English, spoken and written.
• Competence with nesting software; basic computer skills.
• Ability to use basic math and measuring equipment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow written processes.
• Adaptability, openness to new ideas, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment; calm under pressure.
• High standards for your work; strong commitment to quality.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in a similar CNC Laser Operator role (Bodor 6kW Fiber Sheet & Tube) and/or documented training on CNC press brakes, including die changes and part setups.
• Proven experience as a CNC Laser Operator and/or Press Brake Operator.
