Merchandising Solutions ASP

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with data analysis skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. In this role, you will bridge the gap between administrative support and financial accuracy by taking ownership of the billing systems and promotional allowances. You will work closely with management to investigate discrepancies, research potential billing errors, and ensure that all promotional "deals" are captured and executed accurately within our proprietary systems.

Essential Job Functions

• Billing Integrity & Analysis: Take full ownership of verifying that promotional allowances perform accurately within billing systems. Investigate and research potential errors to recover missed allowances.

• System Administration: Master proprietary and third-party systems, including DemandTec, Business Objects, and Online Purchasing, to manage deal procurement data.

• Data Support: Provide analytical and problem-solving assistance to the Contract Systems Investigation Manager to ensure total fulfillment of department responsibilities.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain frequent and professional communication with Managers, Accounting Centers, Divisions, Suppliers, and Brokers.

Qualifications & "Must Haves"

• Technical Proficiency: knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Must be comfortable working with large data sets, adding columns, and utilizing Pivot Tables (Skills testing will be required).

• Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of "email etiquette."

• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.

• Technical Agility: A fast typist who is eager and able to learn complex, proprietary software systems quickly.

• Independence: Ability to work independently while remaining a responsible team player who provides accurate, on-time results for daily check-ins.

salary: $22 - $27 per hour

Responsibilities

• Work under the general direction of the Contract Systems Investigation Manager and provide support

• Able and willing to learn billing systems and administration processes utilizing Kroger and third-party systems which include: DemandTec, Business Objects, Online Purchasing

• Communicate frequently with managers, accounting center, divisions, suppliers and brokers

• Provide administrative support, analyzing data and problem-solving assistance toward the total fulfilment of department responsibilities
