Responsibilities

Design control and electrical schemes for material handling systems, including panel layouts, power, control, communication distribution, and schematics.

Create detailed bills of material and customer data packages.

Provide electrical installation support and assist with installations at customer facilities.

Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), prototype assembly, builds, and troubleshooting.

Lead or participate in research and development (R&D) and continuous improvement projects.
Essential Skills
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related work experience.

5-10 years of experience in electrical design engineering.

Ability to travel up to 10-25%, which may vary over time.

Proficiency in remote troubleshooting and programming.

Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or E-Plan.

Proven PLC experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of ERP systems.

Experience in material handling.

Panel building experience.
Work Environment
This role is based primarily out of the Fairfield office and involves 10-25% travel, which may fluctuate. The work environment is relaxed and team-oriented, providing an excellent opportunity for growth and mentorship within the material handling industry.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr.
