LASER OPERATOR: SECOND SHIFT

Direct Hire: FULL TIME / SECOND SHIFT (MON – THURS 3:15 p.m. – 1:45 a.m.)
TRAINING ON FIRST SHIFT: (MON – FRI 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. for a few weeks.
EXPERIENCED, SKILLED and DEPENDABLE

REQUIRED:
Laser Operation experience; Minimum of 2 years
Maintain and Trouble Shoot (Amada) Lasers for Precision Custom fabrication
Physically able to manually offload materials; Pulling, pushing, grasping, metal products between 15-75 lbs. with regularity.

• Automation experience preferred / but will train.
• Punch experience preferred / but will train.
• Familiarity with nesting desired.
• Knowledgeable about changing lenses, and conducting routine preventive laser maintenance.
• Programming / modifying downloaded programs.
• Proven ability to read and interpret prints/drawings to fabricate parts.
• Ability to identify metals such as cold rolled, galvanneal, stainless, aluminum, etc.
• High attention to detail and safety.

EDUCATION:
High school or equivalent
Formal Laser training preferred but not required / On the job experience considered
Familiarity with ISO procedures /quality standards is beneficial.
Independence is necessary – as is the ability to work as a part of a team.
Standing, Sitting, Reaching, Bending, Stretching, Lifting to 75 lbs.
Pushing, Pulling, Fine tactical skills necessary.
Prefer candidates live in Columbus or surrounding areas.

WAGE and BENEFITS:
Competitive and negotiable based on your skill level, experience and test results. Begins at minimum of $20/hr. for skilled and experienced Laser Operator.
