Job Overview
The Marketing & client Experience Manager is responsible for raising awareness of Community Fund Ohio and for supporting our team as they provide excellent customer service.

Duties
Client Experience Advocacy

  • Serve as the internal advocate for clients, ensuring their perspectives, needs, and feedback inform organizational communications and initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback to identify trends and opportunities for service improvement.
  • Collaborate with Leadership, department supervisors, and Case Manager to enhance touchpoints throughout the client journey.
  • Collaborate with Leadership to lead and/or facilitate staff development opportunities regarding customer service excellence.
  • Execute tasks associated with the strategic plan, as assigned.

Content Creation and Communication

  • Write, edit, and publish social media posts, monitor social media activity, and respond, as necessary.
  • Write, edit, publish blogs, monthly newsletter, press releases, videos, and other digital content to promote the brand, educate the community, and highlight success stories.
  • Ensure content reflects the organization’s values, mission and vision while adhering to brand standards.
  • Maintain and update website content in collaboration with IT and/or marketing vendors.

Event Development and Coordination

  • Plan, coordinate and attend outreach events, educational sessions, and community engagement activities.
  • Represent the company at events, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and community partners.
  • Collaborate with in-house attorneys to plan and deliver CLEs to Ohio attorneys and legal staff.

Agency and Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with external advertising and marketing agencies, including oversight of marketing strategy, audience segmentation, campaign development, creative asset production and paid media placement.
  • Ensure external partners deliver work on time, within budget and aligned with brand and compliance standards.

Marketing Project Management

  • Act as project manager for all marketing-related activities, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain an organized project tracking system for campaigns, content calendars and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to align messaging and campaign objectives with organizational priorities.
  • Partner with Leadership to develop and track appropriate marketing related metrics.

Community Relations and Networking

  • Become familiar with key COIs; create, implement, and maintain a plan for regularly connecting with these individuals in a meaningful way.
  • Network with referral sources and disability providers throughout the state.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and writing consumer-driven marketing related content.
  • Experience managing external vendors and marketing agencies.
  • Experience in event planning and execution.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to translate complex topics into accessible, client-friendly language.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, content management systems, and marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Empathy, cultural competence, and commitment to serving individuals with disabilities and their families.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work required for events.
  • Light travel (day trips; twice per month overnight) throughout the state to community events and partner meetings.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
