We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead a VACO clients accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will oversee the month-end close process, manage general ledger activities, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic financial initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules. Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiencies.
