About the Role:
Join JOYFUL CONNECTIONS in Port Clinton, OH as a Visitation Monitor, Respite Care Staff, or After School Program Staff! Be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing supportive and enriching experiences for children and families in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor visits between children and their families in a safe environment.
- Provide respite care to families, ensuring a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities for after school programs.
- Maintain accurate records of visits and interactions for compliance and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other professionals.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Background in social work, education, or child development is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping children and families.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Must pass Federal background check and drug screen as required by state regulations.
