What You’ll Do:
As the Production Coordinator , you’ll be the central hub for coordinating work orders, maintaining accurate BOMs, and ensuring effective communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the release and status of work orders to support production plans.
- Communicate with production leads to identify and resolve execution barriers.
- Track production progress and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure BOMs are current and accurately maintained in the ERP system (Acumatica preferred).
- Collaborate with engineering on BOM changes and new product introductions.
- Liaise with material handling to ensure proper staging of work orders.
- Monitor production flow and escalate delays or constraints.
- Recommend improvements in production tracking and communication tools.
What You Bring:
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Acumatica preferred; SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle acceptable).
- Solid understanding of production operations and manufacturing concepts.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of BOMs and work order processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, or related field (preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in production coordination, planning, or manufacturing operations.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
- May be required to work in manufacturing areas, adhering to safety protocols.
