Respiratory Therapist (Nights) From $38.12 + Shift Differential

Hattie Larlham is looking for a caring and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) who wants to be part of a mission based on the Comfort, Joy, and Achievement of individuals with disabilities.

Opening:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT) - New Grads Welcome!
• Location: Nestled in northern Portage County, between Cleveland and Akron, is the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities, a long-term residential facility that provides medical services for 124 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Schedule: Full-Time, 6:30pm - 7:00am, every other weekend required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• Current Ohio state license of active status and without disciplinary action.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an AMA-approved school.
• BCLS certification – free training / recertification provided.
• Experience in chronic care and ventilators, and knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferred.

Responsibilities and Daily Duties:

• Provide high quality respiratory therapy services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Manage acute and chronic respiratory problems.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and communicating effectively.
• Work as a team to ensure high quality health services to each person served.
• Assist with training / mentoring of new Respiratory Therapist staff as assigned.
• Complete checklists, incident reports, data collection, monthly summaries.
• Demonstrate respect, trust, and confidentiality regarding persons served, families, and co-workers.
• Other related duties as requested by the direct supervisor.
