About the Position

This position involves working with mixed acuity patients, including medical-surgical and telemetry patients. Schedules may include days, nights, or a combination of both based on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every four-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed. A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required. Experience with the EPIC charting system is mandatory. Successful candidates will be proficient in skills such as IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and tracheostomy management. Previous travel experience is preferred. Candidates must be prepared for a flexible schedule that may require floating to other medical-surgical and oncology units. Documentation of two professional references is required, with at least one reference from a managerial position. Candidates should be available for credentialing and compliance requirements.
