License: Valid nursing license required.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.

Must-Have: Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Description: Comprehensive Cancer Care provides specialized care for various cancer diagnoses.

Floating to Med Surg and Progressive Care units is expected, including various oncology specialties.

There is a heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls.

Staffing ratios for Progressive Care are often 1:3 but may be 1:4 with mixed acuity.

Medical Surgical Telemetry ratios ideally are 1:4 but can be 1:5.

Weekend availability will vary based on unit needs.

Self-scheduling requests will be considered.

The schedule is balanced and finalized before being posted.

All candidates should prepare for a strict compliance deadline prior to the start date.

Response and cooperation with credentialing are essential to avoid delays.

Completion of fingerprinting is required as part of the onboarding process.

Two professional references are required, ideally from leadership or supervisory roles.

Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
