Electronic Equipment Assembler – $18–$19/hr | Akron, OH

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

About the Role

Join our growing team as an Electronics Assembler / Wiring Technician . In this role, you’ll assemble and integrate telecommunications, audio/visual, and electronic equipment using schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions. We’re looking for detail-oriented individuals with proven technical assembly experience who can deliver high-quality, reliable products.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble and wire electronic components, equipment, and sub-assemblies
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and work instructions
• Perform quality checks, testing, and troubleshooting on assemblies
• Handle and install ESD-sensitive devices with care
• Crimp, and route cabling/wiring according to specifications
• Package finished products securely for shipment
• Provide feedback to improve assembly and testing processes

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of electronics assembly or wiring experience (required)
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings/schematics
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (multi-tester, continuity tester, etc.)
• Knowledge of cabling, soldering, and cable management
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or push up to 40 lbs
• Ability to stand for 2+ hours at a time
