Job Title: Manufacturing Line Lead – Leadership + Mechanical & Engineering Skills Preferred
Location: Grove City, OH

Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating 12-Hour Shifts

American Nitrile is a U.S.-based manufacturer with a mission to bring essential glove production back to American soil. We’re operating in a state-of-the-art facility and are looking for an experienced, hands-on Line Lead with mechanical and technical knowledge to help drive daily operations. Candidates with engineering experience are strongly encouraged to apply .

In this role, you'll ensure equipment is running efficiently, solve real-time problems, and help improve processes and quality standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality products while fostering a strong, performance-focused team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operation of a glove production line, managing operators and workflow

• Monitor and maintain product quality, equipment performance, and safety compliance

• Operate, troubleshoot, and support maintenance of mechanical and automated systems

• Support engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve operational issues

• Analyze production metrics and drive process improvements

• Ensure compliance with safety, chemical handling, and good manufacturing practices (GMP)

• Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready work areas

• Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, visual management, and daily huddles

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing or production environment

• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment

• Ability to read technical documentation, batch records, and work instructions

• High school diploma or GED required

• Must be physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 lbs

• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts and wear PPE as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering

• Hands-on engineering or technical experience in a manufacturing environment

• Experience implementing or working within Lean or Six Sigma environments

• Forklift certification and familiarity with RF scanners or inventory systems

• Prior experience with chemical handling and automated production systems
