SUMMARY OF LABORER AT LAYTON SERVICES
This role assists with a variety of tasks on active construction sites, supporting crews with daily operations. No prior experience is required, but basic knowledge of construction practices is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the construction industry with on-the-job training and growth potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup and organization.
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Support skilled trades and equipment operators with various tasks.
- Use basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions from supervisors.
- Learn and apply basic construction techniques on the job.
- Adhere to all OSHA and Layton Services' safety regulations.
- Exhibit a responsible, safety first attitude at all times.
- Perform general labor and all additional duties as required by role.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ Years of experience in similar role/construction role
- Knowledge of basic tools and equipment used in construction.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work in trenches and confined spaces.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- OSHA Trenching and Excavating Certificate (can be obtained once hired)
- OSHA 10-Hour Certificate (can be obtained once hired)
