- Manage the entire construction project from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with a team of architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to develop and implement project plans and schedules.
- Oversee the design and construction of transportation and roadway projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design.
- Ensure that all projects comply with ODOT regulations and guidelines, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other software to produce detailed project plans and drawings.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to analyze water flow and drainage patterns, and develop solutions to mitigate potential flooding and erosion.
- Work with licensed landscape architects to design and implement site development plans, including green infrastructure, stormwater management, and sustainable design features.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, and communicate progress and issues to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Ohio.
- 3+ years of experience in transportation and roadway design, ODOT regulations and guidelines, and AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, such as HEC-RAS or SWMM.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
