Custom Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Custom Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). Candidates must have strong Salesforce development capability using Apex and LWC to support Sales Cloud enhancements.

Rate Range: $42/hour to $43/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Custom Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Develop Salesforce components using Apex, LWC, and Sales Cloud features to support platform enhancements.

• Deliver individual development tasks, ensuring high‑quality code and adherence to SFDC best practices.

• Support Sales Cloud functionality by building custom solutions, workflows, and integrations as needed.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Apex classes, LWC components, and Sales Cloud configurations.

• Optimize existing Salesforce solutions to improve performance, usability, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.

• 3–5 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience in Apex and LWC.

• Must have strong capability in Sales Cloud development with proven ability to build and customize components.

• Must have solid communication skills to operate as an individual developer and deliver SFDC tasks effectively.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $43.00 per hour
