Quality Assurance Technician - Third Shift

A leading global manufacturing company has an opening for a Quality Technician to join their team. This is a third shift opportunity working from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.; however, you need to be flexible to work overtime at the beginning or end of the shift or on weekends. Training will be scheduled for 1 month on first shift and then job moves to third shift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect samples of parts, test, and measuring sample parts
• Ensure conformance to specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, hardness and other standards
• Perform PPAP, APQP, Gage Control, SPC, and Final Audit
• Understand and comply with relevant Management System requirements
• Complete scheduled audits and assist with training
• Perform other duties as required

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must be familiar with visual inspection and the concepts of measuring and dimensioning
• Must have the ability to pass a vision test annually
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English
• Must have basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must have an eye for detail, the ability to follow specification, and meet deadlines
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
