Project Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for specific day-to-day business activities for customer projects including but not limited to purchase order creation, client follow-up actions, revenue recognition, assisting Project Managers with daily activities and creating ad-hoc reports, working in 3rd party commissioning software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works closely with Project Managers and Project Accounting to review financials on projects.
  • Creates Oracle SplashBi and Smartsheet reports used by Project Management team.
  • Revenue recognition on products when needed.
  • Meets weekly with assigned Project Managers and teams.
  • Works in Oracle (ERP system) creating purchase orders, receipting purchase orders, assists with project closeout, builds equipment list in Smartsheet,
  • Maintain contact with Project Managers daily as needed.
  • Maintain project Financial Reports including weekly Wip Backlog, Rev 04-19 and Rev 04-29 Sox reports.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Two years of professional experience.
  • Prior project coordination experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use general office equipment.
  • Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software.
