Steelite International USA is seeking a Product Management Assistant to join the team! This is an entry level position. Great position to begin your career in Product Management! This position will assist Product Managers with daily administrative tasks and new item set-ups in GP system, system maintenance, and regular reporting.

*** This is not a remote position.

To be a successful candidate - strong communication, analytical, and Excel skills are a must.

What will I do as a Product Management Assistant?

• Communicate with vendors to generate quotes, ensure product/data integrity, and assist in product development of products.
• Use multiple data bases to keep track of over 40,000 SKUs.
• Assist salespeople with quotations. Building net/list pricing with profitable gross margins.
• Coordinate with marketing department to provide accurate & updated material and content for advertising, catalogs, website.
• Merchandize products in showroom, at shows, for photography, etc.
• Attend marketing shows, sales conferences/meetings. Network with salespeople/potential customers
• -i.e., National Restaurant Association show in Chicago, IL
• Assist product managers in new product development processes by researching industry trends, materials, competitor products and creating presentations.
• Work with 3rd party IT group to develop & troubleshoot new data integration uploads as needed.
• Use Power BI to create sales reports, extract sales data, and create supplier review presentations.
• Act as liaison between product managers and sales team, vendors, customers, distributor groups, etc.
• All other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications and skills?

• Associate's degree (in business or related field) preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (including word, excel, outlook).
• Ability to sit and enter/analyze data for extended periods of time. (Intermediate level proficiency required)
• Ability to twist, bend, kneel, reach, walk and squat throughout the workday.
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimum supervision.
